Here’s A Little About Me
My professional and personal path have led me to the place I am now. It has been a journey filled with twists and turns, ups and downs, unfolding and transforming along the way. And I still continue to grow and evolve each day.
I earned my Master’s in Marriage, Family & Child Counseling in 2013. As an MFT intern on my road to licensure, I’m currently working part-time in a local school district as a Mental Health Counselor. I have worked in schools for 15 years teaching Social & Emotional tools as well as counseling IEP & Gen Ed students of all ages.
In addition, I am a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and have led classes for the past 7 years. I’m excited to now be a Conscious Parenting Coach as well. I lean towards Adlerian theory and am heavily influenced by the work of Dr. Jane Nelson and Dr. Shefali Tsabary. I’ve been enjoying the adventure of my own coaching practice for the last 2 years. I work with clients of all ages and guide them on their journey towards their own Wisdom, Connection & Purpose.
I am a Life Long Learner, a Truth Teller, and a Shameless Storyteller. I love connecting with people and am fascinated with relationship dynamics. I am Mom to a Kidult Daughter who is 20 years old (gasp!) and a Teenage Son who’s 17 and I’m Dog Mama to our pup Riley.
I’m an Indo-American (so I get the cultural stuff!) and a Single Mom (so I get that stuff too!). I am inspired by Women Warriors like Brene Brown, Elizabeth Gilbert, Megan Hale, Danielle LaPorte and Glennon Doyle. I love breathing in crisp ocean air- it calms me. I love designing my daily quotes- it excites me (follow iParent Plus on Instagram or Facebook to check them out). I think Serendipity is rad and I believe in Magic. I enjoy ice cold Coca-Cola, sushi happy hours and lazy Sundays. And true confession, I almost always cry when I hear a Helpful Honda commercial!
So, what’s my Purpose on the Planet? It’s Complicated and Simple at the Same Time:
I believe I’m here to witness the growth of others while ever evolving and transforming myself. I am here to hold space for everyone I work with and to help shift perspectives. Just how everything looks different when a kaleidoscope is slightly turned…I’m the one that helps turn the kaleidoscope for you.
I want to build Resiliency in people- that Bounce-back-Ability that we all need in life. I am here to honor children, give them the respect they all deserve and to advocate on their behalf while teaching parents a different way to parent. And I’m all about empowering women to rise up and out of their historical boxes to claim their well-deserved crown.
I want to lead and support individuals and families to thrive with Connection, Consciousness and Compassion. I’m here to be Brave, Kind and speak my Truth while encouraging and empowering others to do the same. I try to be a Light Bearer shining my own light and inspiring others to shine theirs too. I am here to boldly turn culture, gender roles, and societal expectations upside down and inside out. I am here to stand up and speak up and do my part to make the world a better place.

In this messy work of being human, every single one of us needs a soft place to land, a place we know we can be seen, heard, loved, and supported. Without question. Without judgment. And to be met with encouragement during the toughest of times and celebration in the best of times. We need someone to remind of who we are when we forget (because we do forget!) And Vibha is that. Unwaveringly. Her support is priceless. Her heart even more so! I cannot recommend her enough.Megan Hale
